A stunning 74-hectare oasis located in the heart of the city-state. Created in 1859, it is one of the oldest gardens in Asia and the only tropical garden on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The garden is home to some of the rarest and most beautiful species of plants, trees and flowers in the world. There are various attractions within the gardens, including a large lake situated right in the middle where visitors can go boating, a rainforest with trails for trekking, and a National Orchid Garden with more than 1,000 species of orchids.
